Using Salsa Skills to Somewhat Overcome a Bad-Looking Shirt
The power of salsa dancing is great. One day when I was at the store I picked up a shirt that was on sale (mclovin style license picture to right courtesy of my friend David's photoshop skills). It looked like it might be okay. I wore it in a dark club and it still seemed all right. A couple of people even liked it in that setting.
Unfortunately, in better light it just did not look so good on me. Maybe it would look better on someone else, not sure. So when I wore it dancing in a better-lit place, it just didn't work out. My friend Kimmy pointed this out pretty quickly.
However, even with a bad-looking shirt I still had fun dancing that night. Didn't have a spare shirt, thus I kept wearing it. So if you wear a bad shirt, be able to dance. And if you can do that you may be partially redemmed. But for the next time, a better looking one can't hurt.

Maybe it will look better on someone else . . . .
