Ninja Salsa Tactics- Salsa Moves on a Cameraphone
So, I got a new phone not too long ago- an LG Chocolate and it had a lot of features which I figured I wouldn't use. Things like Bluetooth, which I suppose could be useful, but I'm not going to worry about it. Then about a week later I discovered that the camera on it could record video.
After a bit I thought about using it for salsa. Generally if I go to a lesson, I learn some cool salsa moves, try and practice them about and then remember them if they're really cool or forget them if I don't practice them enough.
The next time I went to a salsa lesson I tried it out after asking the instructor if it would be all right. The first couple attempts didn't quite work. But then I had some success- I captured one and a half salsa moves! And the half of a move was the more complicated half.
The video can be sent in clips of up to 30 seconds to other phones. That length seemed fine for most salsa moves. However, I thought that they would fill up my phone if I took too many.
After I had a few salsa clips on my phone I thought it would be good to get a memory card so I could have as many as I wanted. The camera uses micro SD.
The mini SD card is ridiculously tiny and to transfer files onto a computer you can use the larger SD size card that it slides into and put the card into an SD reader.
The image quality is not bad- fairly clear on a camera screen. The sound is not great, but you can still hear the rhythm.
It seems like it will be a good way to keep track of some salsa moves.
