Salsa in Denver, Colorado
While in Denver I went out to a couple of salsa places to check out the scene. The first place I tried to find was called "Copacabana" or at least that's what it used to be called. I got to the address and found a Mexican restaurant. The people there were really friendly and tried to help me find what I was looking for. They talked to all the people at the restaurant, called some cousins, and were helping me search the yellow pages for this place.
It turned out that the salsa place used to be at the same location as the restaurant, but a few years before. They recommended a place called 'La Rumba' so I headed over there.
Some of the dancers at La Rumba were pretty good and it was packed before too long.
After cross checking a few websites I was planning on going to a place called Turneverein on Wednesday night, but I got in too late. Call ahead to confirm though! I made the mistake of not doing that.
